Christmas Eve 2011

All the Christmas fun started on Christmas Eve. We went Abbie and Poppy's house with all the aunts, uncles, and cousins for a yummy dinner. Then the grandkids get to act out the Nativity story while Poppy reads it. Jared got to be "Joseph" this year:

 

Jacob played the part of "the Shining Star".  Joey played a shepherd. They all did great!

Then we all gathered around for an exciting gift game. Aunt Jennie read a story that involved lots of rotating to our left and right. When it was over we all ended up with a cool gift to open.

Then everyone got to open their gifts from Abbie and Poppy. It was very exciting.

Abbie made pajamas for all the grandkids this year. They turned out so cute! Look at all these kids:

 I made our kids stick around for more pictures.

I didn't think getting five kids to smile at me at the same time would be so difficult...



We had a great night with Abbie and Poppy!

Then we headed home to get ready for Christmas Morning.
